• Organization needs a tight plan!
• Love cookies!

• Coimbra has very nice weather and people are just incredible!

life is too damn short

Hello all,

(I will write this one in Portuguese, because… well because I want to. It’s about a goodby and a gratefully thanks to my boss and all friends and coulegues I worked with these last four years at log as a, well many roles in fact, developer, sysadmin, security auditor, systems architect, it manager and finaly back to sysadmin and developing again… yhea right one man show.)

Comecei a escrever as primeiras linhas deste post no dia dos meus anos (07/Fev). Desde então tenho parado para reflectir de uma forma um pouco mais atenta sobre o que penso ter aprendido até ao momento.
Foram 4 anos de tudo, e por tudo estou orgulhoso de ter trabalhado e vestido o polo da log!

Se vou ter saudades de log? Sim, sem dúvida! Trabalhei com pessoas muito interessantes e de vários tipos tais como geeks, formais e informais também, arrogantes, divertidos, astutos, tótós, simpáticos e antipaticos, sociais e nerds , DJs, surfirstas, saxofonistas, snowboarders mas também uns sedentários hehehe normal. Uma empresa realmente heterogénea na qual e com todos eles aprendi algo.

• Aprendi que não estamos sós e que temos o poder de tornar as coisas mais leves
• Aprendi que o que importa é curtir com estilo
• Aprendi que o mundo é realmente muito pequeno e devemos reciclar
• Aprendi que vale a pena o esforço
• Aprendi que 5 minutos fazem a diferença
• Aprendi que temos uma marca associada a nós e que temos de cuidar dela
• Aprendi que somos capazes de muita coisa se nos propusermos a elas
• Aprendi que apesar de tudo nunca respondemos sempre a tudo
• Aprendi a partilhar ainda mais
• Aprendi a ser mais openmind, ver e estudar outras hipóteses
• Aprendi a ser mais rigoroso ainda
• Aprendi a ser mais tolerante
• Aprendi a respirar fundo
• Aprendi a dizer que aprendi!

even with headphones I can hear all sounds surrounding me! In fact many times I have them plugged into my ears just to isolete outside noise, without any music playing.

I am thinking on making some noise sensor with alarm
